Bioneers Southeast Forum
In 2005 and 2006, the Bioneers Southeast Forum hosted more than 700 participants – activists, politicians, business leaders, farmers, and citizens. The forum engaged them on topics as diverse (and connected) as social marketing, sustainable transportation, local foods and economies, socially responsible business leadership, the emerging water crisis, and politics and art. This year we are partnering with the Interdenomenational Theological Center for our best event yet.
The Bioneers Southeast Forum brings together the best minds and movements in metro Atlanta, in a local effort to forge our new vision for a better future for our community.
April 11-13 at the Interdenominational Theological Center, attendees and presenters will dialog about issues ranging from domestic Fair trade to holistic medicine and water management.
The Forum is one of the many Bioneers Satellite conferences held across the country. This year over 10,000 people will gather at the various locations. Attendees come from all sectors, but are united by their culture of positive solutions and belief in the interdependence of economy, ecology, culture, and community.
In addition to local presenters, their will be broadcasts of premier speakers from the central conference including Van Jones of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Eve Ensler Author of the Vagina Monologues.
