The 2008 Urban Forestry Festival will be day of family fun, learning, and community
sharing. Come explore and celebrate the wonders of Atlanta's urban
forests! Be awed by little-known green treasures within I-285.
Join the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA), National Wildlife
Federation (NWF) and friends to learn more about Atlanta's incredible
urban forest and the wildlife with which we share the forest. The
festival will feature educational and entertaining exhibits, tours,
hands-on activities and demonstrations by NWF and its partners, food,
and giveaways.
